What do you look like?

It depends on who’s looking.

The Mothman Prophecies (2002) is a movie that gives me goosebumps just thinking about. It’s not that it’s overwhelmingly scary, but it definitely messes with your head. It’s a movie that builds, leans heavily on superstition and the supernatural, and twists that little piece of your mind way at the back in a way that is hard to shake.

The phone call in the hotel room is the tipping point. Indrid Cold. That voice. The odd dialogue. Yeah, it gets me every time I watch it.

The story of the Mothman influencing and predicting the bridge disaster is one that requires a bit of “willingness to believe” by the viewer, as many have offered scientific explanations.  I purchased the book the movie was based on a read a lot of the stories from local residents about odd occurrences, and it’s at least enough to make you question what really happened.

Not knowing can be a scary thought. What is reality? Do you get goosebumps thinking about someone or something behind you? Is that reaction all in your head, or is it something beyond consciousness and reason?

You're more advanced than a cockroach, have you ever tried explaining yourself to one of them?
